"Co-oping with Cooper has been a great experience. I have been given the opportunity to grow as an undergraduate through experiences which were truly relevant to my study in engineering. Taking opportunities to work in various locations throughout the country has also helped me to become a well-rounded engineer. The knowledge I’ve gained as a co-op in product development, plant manufacturing, finite element analysis as well as corporate business has prepared me for a promising full-time career within this company." -Neil B.

"We are very proud of the contributions made by co-op students at our Technical Center. We challenge our students with real-world projects that call on their creativity and engineering skills, and that directly impact Cooper's success as a company. Students are usually amazed to find out just how technically demanding it is to develop and produce a tire. Our students find themselves involved with a broad range of engineering issues: materials, design, testing, analysis, manufacturing. They gain hands-on experience using state-of-the-art resources in projects that include computational tire performance simulation, experimental characterization of materials, measurement and control, to name a few. Our students respond to all of this by doing great things." - Will M.
